I adore you V, but the idea that we should just put our differences aside and remain friendly with MAGA is a luxury many folks don’t have. What about parents who have to protect their trans kids, trans adults and anyone who’s brown and now has to carry their passport card around with them? We literally look at people who had Trump signs in their yards and think, “Yeah, that’s the guy who’s going to turn my family in when they come for us.” I understand the point, but it feels tone deaf for folks who have legitimate reasons to be afraid every single day.
